Day 30 - Yell
What started off as just eyes and nose, quickly became a full head. The inside of the mouth (tongue and teeth) were erased.

Day 28 - Ball
I'm growing more and more fond of charcoal. When I did art in High School, I primarily did collages mostly with pen and ink. I was scared of charcoal for the mere fact that it is so fluid in how it is applied to paper. but so far this year, I've done quite a bit with it. And I think I have a newfound love with it.

Day 26 - Chapter 1 of CWP
I am currently writing a trilogy. I started it long ago but never finished. Then a couple years ago, I decided to revamp it and rewrite the entire trilogy. And hopefully finish it this time. This is the art for the first chapter in Book 1. There is also music for each novel I am also writing. Altogether, it is called, "The Circuit Wars Project."

Day 23 - Dummy
Growing up, I had to ventriloquist dummies. They never scared me but scared others. This is one of them.

Day 22 - Guardian
This piece is entitled "Guardian." Originally it was going to be just a giant looking down upon a small little guy in the desert but i decided to add more (as I usually do.) So the giant grew wings and a halo and became an angel. Today I started experimenting with a blending stick. I have a massive collection of blending sticks so I thought I might as well put them to good use.

Day 17 - The Dream
This one is very weird for me. I like to try and remember my dreams, even if it takes me a while. Most of the time, I remember them. Especially ones like last nights. I was in a locker room with Ross and Joey from the show FRIENDS. We were walking to my locker and when I opened it, there was a little brown ball sitting on the shelf. It was wiggling around. Then two legs popped out and a terrifying mouth with razor sharp teeth. Then it started crying like a baby and Ross and Joey were freaking out because we couldn't feed it milk because none of us were women. Very strange, so I thought about it today and decided to draw it up. Because why not?

Day 16 - Hang Wire
Today I am going to start something new. One each post, I will also write the music I was listening to during the course of drawing the current piece. I believe music and Art go hand in hand (music is an art-form after all.) But I strongly believe music can help inspire some of my pieces. This one is a man holding onto a rope and being pulled down by a weight that is 1,000 lbs.

Day 14 - Clown
Clowns never have scared me. So even now, I draw creepy clowns. To scare others. Because I am not afraid. Of clowns. I think they are one of the best things to draw as far as a dark creepy standpoint goes because they are the epitome of childhood laughter and fun. But whats underneath that makeup....

Day 12 - Construct
I wasn't really sure where this piece was going when I started. I STILL am not sure what it is but I like the idea of an abstract construction of a robot.

Day 11 - Blackbeard
For today, I did one of my favorite techniques in where i grind charcoal down onto a piece of paper, blend it all in and then erase. Just erase the whole drawing. So all the white you see, is from erasing back the charcoal. It was just going to be the eye but I decided halfway through it needed more of a face. Blackbeard is his name and he is powerful.

Day 9 - Bill
When I was younger, i had an imaginary friend named Bill. This last Christmas, my dad put a fun little figuring toy in my stocking that i built together, and this is him. Bill. Not so imaginary anymore.

Day 8 - Worms
I was listening to the album "The Cleansing" by Suicide Silence when I drew this. A pile of worms choking a guy with his hand coming out from his mouth. Very dark.

Day 6 - Birds and Sharks
Sorry I'm late on Day 6. I drew this yesterday morning but to forgot to post it. Anyways it was a random-chance piece in where i drop charcoal sticks onto the canvas and then draw from wherever they fell. Birds and sharks. Day 7 coming tonight.

Day 5 - Beanhead
Not really sure what inspired me to do this piece. I tried to draw a brain on the inside of the fellows head but it ended up looking funky. So I added a smiley face to one of them. And then another. And then another. Then they were beans. Beans in a head. Beanhead.

Day 4 - Edwards
Was at Edwards Pipe and Tobacco tonight conversing in the lounge with some buddies. Instant inspiration. Not too happy with the way the cigar turned out in the picture (it was much better in real life; a Carlos Torano 1959) but it's all about practice, practice, practice!
